Privacy Policy

Last updated: Jul 15, 2026

This is a template. Please have it reviewed by local counsel and confirm the company details before relying on it.

This policy explains what personal data Traverse collects, why, and the rights you have over it. It follows the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

Who we are Traverse is a tour operator based at Uchaneishvili 4, Tbilisi 0179, Georgia. We are the "controller" of your personal data. For any privacy question or request, email pruidze.nikolozi@gmail.com.

What we collect and why - When you send a booking or contact request: your name, phone number, and anything you add (email, travel dates, number of travellers, message). We use this only to answer you and to plan and confirm your trip. *Legal basis: performance of a contract and steps taken at your request before a contract (GDPR Art. 6(1)(b)).* - Analytics (only with your consent): anonymous statistics about pages and tours viewed, via Google Analytics. *Legal basis: your consent (Art. 6(1)(a)).* - Advertising measurement (only with your consent): whether an ad led to a visit or request, via the Meta Pixel. *Legal basis: your consent.* - Security and site operation: basic technical data (e.g. your consent choice) needed to run the site safely. *Legal basis: our legitimate interest in a secure, working website (Art. 6(1)(f)).*

We do not ask for special-category data and we never sell your data.

Who we share it with We use a small number of processors who act only on our instructions: - Vercel — website hosting. - Google — analytics (only if you consent). - Meta — advertising measurement (only if you consent) and, if you message us, WhatsApp. - Our operations tools — the email/messaging service that alerts our team to your request. - Trip partners — the specific hotels, guides and transport needed to deliver a trip you book.

International transfers Because we operate from Georgia and use global providers, your data may be processed outside the European Economic Area (for example in Georgia or the United States). Where that happens, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses.

How long we keep it We keep booking and enquiry records for as long as we need them to serve you and to meet legal or accounting obligations, then delete them. Analytics data is retained according to the provider's settings and your consent.

Your rights Under the GDPR you can ask us to: - access the data we hold about you, - correct it if it is wrong, - erase it ("right to be forgotten"), - restrict or object to how we use it, - receive it in a portable format, - withdraw consent at any time (this does not affect earlier processing).

To exercise any right, email pruidze.nikolozi@gmail.com — we respond within one month. You also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority.

Cookies We use essential cookies to run the site and, only with your consent, analytics and advertising cookies. You can change or withdraw your choice anytime via "Cookie settings" in the footer. See the choices and categories there.

Changes We update this policy when our practices change; the date above shows the latest version.
