How a private tour is put together

It starts with a short form or a WhatsApp message: where you are flying into, how many days you have, what you care about — mountains, wine, history, food, walking — and the level of hotel you expect. Within 24 hours you receive a day-by-day proposal with a price. We revise it until it fits, and you pay only after the itinerary is confirmed.

On the road you travel in a vehicle matched to the route — a 4×4 for Tusheti and upper Svaneti, a minivan for families — with a licensed, English-speaking guide who lives here. Russian, Georgian, German and French guides are available on most dates. The pace is the point: leave Tbilisi at eight or at ten, linger in Sighnaghi, skip the souvenir stop.

The proposal itemises transport, guide, hotels and entrance fees so you can see what you are paying for. Free cancellation applies up to seven days before departure on most itineraries.
